Terms and Conditions

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY.


By accessing or using Lola for Carers, a service provided by Leaf AI Ltd (“Leaf AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you (“you”, “your”, “Carer”, or “User”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Lola for Carers.

These Terms govern your use of the Lola for Carers mobile and web applications (together, the “Platform”) as an individual Carer, Manager, Service Leader, Organisation Leader, or similar role. These Terms do not govern the service agreement between Leaf AI Ltd and your organisation.

1. Eligibility and User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and have authorisation from your employing or contracting organisation to use the Platform.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

2. Permitted Use

  • You may use the Platform solely for the purpose of delivering, managing, or overseeing care as part of your role.

  • You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorised purpose.

  • You must not share your account or login details with any other person.

3. Care Reports, Care Plan Updates and Summaries

  • All reports, care records, and care plan updates submitted through the Platform must be reviewed and approved by you, the Carer, prior to final submission.

  • You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of all information you enter or approve on the Platform.

  • Summaries generated by our system are intended for a quick look overview only, and there may be inaccuracies. You should not rely on summaries for critical care decisions. Always check by looking at individual case notes.

4. Reporting Failures and Errors

  • You agree to promptly report any technical failures, errors, or suspected bugs encountered while using the Platform to the development team via the designated support channels.

  • Leaf AI Ltd will make reasonable efforts to investigate and rectify reported issues but does not guarantee immediate resolution.

5. Data Privacy and Security

  • Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

  • You must comply with all applicable data protection laws and your organisation’s data handling requirements.

  • Do not share sensitive personal data through the Platform unless required for care delivery and in line with your organisation’s policies.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content and software on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Leaf AI Ltd.

  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform as permitted under these Terms.

  • You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the Platform.

7. User Conduct

  • You must use the Platform professionally and with respect for service users, colleagues, and the company.

  • You may not upload or transmit any material that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others.

8. Updates and Availability

  • We may update or modify the Platform at any time without notice.

  • We may suspend or discontinue the Platform (or any part) at our discretion.

  • These Terms do not guarantee any minimum level of uptime or availability to individual Users; such guarantees, if any, are only provided under a separate agreement with your organisation.

9. Termination

  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or your continued use poses a risk to the Platform or other Users.

  • Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Platform.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

  • Leaf AI Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Platform, except as required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes, but your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
